Election must be held in Anambra state no matter what IPOB thinks .– Uche Mefor blows hot

Members of the Indigenous People of Biafra have received a stern warning from their former deputy leader, Mefor.

A former deputy director of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has vowed that the group cannot prevent gubernatorial elections from taking place in Anambra state.

 

According to him, elections must be held in Anambra and other southeastern states no matter what IPOB thinks.

 

IPOB had insisted that the elections for governor of Anambra will not be held until the referendum for an independent Republic of Biafra takes place.

 

Mefor took to his well-known Facebook page on Saturday to share his thoughts, amid rumors of his death.

 

“If you want, stay in the mountains, at home, or sleep in the street, the elections in Anambra and others must be held, and the Biafran citizens must exercise their democratic rights. Look and see, ”Mefor wrote.
